We are glad to take part in the Re-defining museum digital concept online workshop which has been organised by the National Museum of Tanzania and the Goethe-Institut on the 13th October 2021 – 21st December 2021.

Digital museum experience concept is a continuation of series of re-defining museum workshops aiming to train museum employees to explore technology in extending museum services and facilities beyond the museum building.

The workshop is expected to offer a new thinking approach to museum core functions which will create new museology experience to museum workers and visitors on the field of curation, exhibition, education, research, publication and outreach programs.

The workshop aims to facilitate the National Museum of Tanzania to open a virtual window of museum services to public worldwide, to facilitate development of virtual tours by creating safe and cost-effective visitors experience to museum services including exhibition, database access

for research purposes, education programs and publications, to offer indoor museum entertainment through education to families and children using virtual museum outreach packages among others.
